A Hyehehe cub uses its adorably large eyes to charm the unsuspecting victims of its pranks. While you gaze into its precious peepers, it might just be reaching behind you to tape a sign to your back, or signalling to Hoola, who reveres this Mythical as its 'mischief mentor.' The floppy ears, neck frill and tippy toes of this scamp sport deceptively soundless cells, which only further disorient the targets of its jests. Curiously, the Hyehehe only has a small amount of plush fabric to contain itself, which quickly becomes a problem as the Monsterling starts to grow out of it. With each passing growth spurt, Hyehehe starts to snatch strips of fabric away from other young Monsters' blankets, baskets and blouses to stitch together...
2: [Adult]
It's a little jarring to behold the adult Hyehehe for the first time. If you didn't know any better, you'd think that the Mythical was recovering from some kind of calamitous accident, based on the amount of stitches it has. In reality, this 'patchwork epidermis' was the Hyehehe's doing, painstakingly sewing swatches of fabric to its plush pelt to make sure it has enough room to articulate and gesticulate! Along the way, the sewing skills this Monster developed inadvertently endowed it with the ability to perceive the world between worlds, and even manipulate the fabric of spacetime to play ever more dastardly prank! Could Hyehehe make the journey to Wanderer Island simply by stitching a portal of its own? Probably! Does Hyehehe decide to use Essence-powered Teleportation anyways? Guess so! This Monster always keeps you guessing.
