Once free from the homey comforts of their eggs, sensitive Yawstrich chicks feel unsure of the world around them. Sometimes it can feel like nothing's quite right - faint breezes blow them over, slight chills give them goosebumps, mild heat makes them lose their growing plumage, and the stress of it all really frazzles their feathers! Yet with great willpower and determination, these nervous Mythical hatchlings are making it work with the hope that one day it will all pay off.

As it prepares to teleport to Wanderer Island, the Yawstrich takes a lot of coaxing to depart the comforts of its preferred habitat among the towering rock formations and cloud cover of the Continent's Air Lands. How fortuitous, then, for the topography of Wanderer Island to be so well-suited as a replacement! For being a uniped, the Mythical is unexpectedly sure-footed as it leaps and flutters from ledge to ledge. The Yawstrich seems so at home among the dark, volcanic rock of Wanderer Island, that the other Monster residents have started calling it Yawbsidian! Could this Monster ever dream of finding another such suitable habitat ever again?
